PRODUCT DETAILS
Cross fittings (four-way connectors) with ER316L internal cladding are critical in pipelines transporting aggressive media.
Forming Process:
Using advanced automated cladding systems, a corrosion-resistant ER316L stainless steel alloy layer is uniformly deposited on the inner bores of four-way (cross) pipe fittings, enhancing performance in corrosive flow environments.
Size Range:
4″–48″ cladded cross fittings, customized to meet diverse piping system specifications.
Base Material:
Carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and pipeline steel.
Cladding Material:
ER316L (Low Carbon 316 Stainless Steel) – a molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel offering excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced attack.

Internal Cladding for Cross Fittings (ER316L)
Applications:
Extensively used in chemical processing, desalination plants, refining units, marine piping, offshore oil & gas platforms, and power generation systems, where internal corrosion protection is critical.
Product Features:
FNS internal cladded crosses are manufactured using GTAW, PTA, laser cladding, and CMT automated technologies, achieving:
Excellent corrosion resistance in acidic and chloride-rich media
Smooth surface finish for optimized flow and reduced pressure drop
Low dilution rate for maintaining alloy integrity
Strong metallurgical bonding and consistent cladding thickness across the internal surfaces
Minimized distortion and superior weld quality through thermal control
These fittings ensure long-term reliability and reduced maintenance in aggressive operating conditions.
Capacity:
Cladding for cross fittings is performed using CCC/ETR welding platforms and specialized 4-axis manipulators. FNS operates over 90 sets of flexible welding equipment, with an annual cladding capacity exceeding 450 tons, delivering consistent quality for large-scale and custom projects.
