Internal Hardfacing Cladding for Pipe Fittings(Nickel-Based + Tungsten Carbide)

Internal Hardfacing Cladding for Pipe Fittings(Nickel-Based + Tungsten Carbide)

PRODUCT DETAILS

The combination of nickel-based alloys and tungsten carbide (WC) in hardfacing cladding creates a composite layer with exceptional wear and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications. Nickel-based + tungsten carbide hardfacing cladding significantly extends the service life of pipe fittings in abrasive and corrosive environments.

Forming Process:

Utilizing cutting-edge automated cladding technologies, a high-performance nickel-based alloy reinforced with tungsten carbide particles is precisely applied to the inner surfaces of pipe fittings such as elbows, tees, reducers, and crosses. This ensures exceptional wear resistance in abrasive flow environments.

Size Range:

4″–60″ cladded fittings, including elbows, tees, reducers, and custom shapes.

Base Material:

Carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, pipeline steel, and other engineering-grade materials.

Cladding Material:

Nickel-based alloys with embedded tungsten carbide (WC), designed to provide extreme hardness and wear protection against solid particle erosion, cavitation, and turbulent slurry flows.

Applications:

Widely used in mineral processing, coal chemical plants, oil sands operations, slurry pipelines, ash handling systems, and high-wear sections of petrochemical or power generation infrastructure.

Product Features:

FNS wear-resistant cladded fittings employ PTA, laser cladding, GTAW, and CMT technologies to form a dense, ultra-hard surface layer with:

Exceptional abrasion and erosion resistance

High toughness and crack resistance under thermal cycling

Strong metallurgical bond with the base material

Uniform coating thickness and customized alloy composition for specific wear environments

This process significantly extends the service life of fittings and reduces downtime in harsh operational environments.

Capacity:

Fittings welding is carried out using CCC/ETR and advanced positioners. Currently, FNS operates over 90 adjustable welding systems, with an annual welding capacity exceeding 450 tons, ensuring prompt delivery and high-quality standards for global clients.
